Stories make children understand the world around us. Storytelling is an art. So powerful is our impulse to detect story patterns that we see them even if they are not there. One such Engrossing workshop by Mrs.Nupur from Hyderabad. THE STORYWALLAHS was conducted at RKSVA for 2 days from 29 June 18 and 30 June 18. 29 june was a session for students from Jkg to class VI. It was a very Entertaining session for kids to hear beautiful stories with puppets sounds and actions while in second half of session students were taught the art of story writing and expressing using sensory words and effects. A special interactive session especially for parents was conducted on the 30 june 18 when the parents were made to enact and perform stories in an entertaining manner ,making them aware of importance and introducing them to new storytelling ways which would guide them to enhance the spoken and writing skills of their children.
