Diwali means rows of lighted lamps. It is a festival of lights and every Indian celebrates it with joy. During this festival, people light diyas in their houses and shops. They work-ship load Ganesha for good welfare & prosperity and Goddess Lakshmi for wealth and wisdom. The festival of lights came alive at RKSVA on 14th October’ 17, when the whole school wore a festive look with diyas and lanters adorning the corridors in bright colours. The principal lit the lamp to begin the function on this auspicious occasion. There were various cultural programs like musical skit, song and dance. The whole school participated in the function concluded with the message of a clean, peaceful and a bright Diwali by the principal sir. After the function eco-friendly cracker were burned in the school followed by Rangoli and colouring competition.
